This pair of beautiful & bright red stained glass earrings is a perfect accessory for a dinner date or a movie night. The earrings are carefully handcrafted using red colored glass remnants picked up from recycling centers. The recycled glass was cut, ground, carefully laid out on a kiln shelf, and fired in an electric kiln for about a day. The shiny glass pieces were then assembled into simple, yet elegant, earth friendly jewelry. The translucent glass & colorful shiny surface of these stained glass earrings is perfect for any wardrobe.
These earrings have sterling silver ear wires, in French shepherd hook style. Each pair is delivered with clear tiny stoppers, for extra security. They also come Gift-Ready in a wonderful Gift Box at no additional cost.

In a stained glass class in 1983, I realized the possibilities of combining my passions to create Recycled Glass Jewelry. This early effort has evolved into my current line of handcrafted Earth Friendly Jewelry. Stained glass artists supply me with a wide array of colored glass remnants and recycling centers are my source for bottles and jars. I’m always on the lookout for anything made of glass that I can saw, cut or break into raw materials for my jewelry. This reclaimed glass is cut into the desired shapes and either fired in a kiln or processed in a rock tumbler. The kiln fired glass retains the shiny surface and the pieces of tumbled glass are etched to a beach glass texture. These individual pieces of glass jewelry are then carefully fitted with hypoallergenic surgical steel wires. The results are guaranteed to delight."
